About me and the method
A teacher and qualified equine therapy practitioner: pedagogy and emotional facilitation in one process.
Dual profile
Weekdays in the classroom. Weekends at the equestrian centre.
On weekdays I am a teacher at a school. At weekends I carry on the same underlying work — accompanying people — but at the equestrian centre, with one very clear goal: helping each person feel good about themselves and reconnect with their surroundings and with what they carry inside.
With children, this space also lets me make up for what a school often cannot attend to, for many reasons: the sheer number of pupils, the difficulty of meeting each and every one of their needs. Here the child sets the pace, and the attention is one to one.
Method
Beside the horse, on the same level
The exercises are not improvised: they are structured and designed to work on objectives agreed with you beforehand. There is a wide variety, and in each session the practitioner chooses the ones she considers right for the pace and needs of the moment — always with your agreement.
The work moves through observation, breathing, approach, leading and boundaries. Person and animal share the same level — and that is exactly where the mirror appears.
I carry liability insurance specific to this activity.
